A Bahamian grand parade festival that is a kaleidoscope of color and sound and bright costumes that celebrates the freeing of slaves in the Caribbean Islands during the 17th Century. The parade features shrieking whistles, shaking cowbells and beating drums. It takes place during the early hours (Midnight to 9 AM) on New Year's Eve day.
